Day 1:ARRIVE DELHI
You will be met upon arrival by Live India representative and transferred to hotel


Day 2:DELHI / SRINAGAR
This morning fly to Srinagar also known as “Heaven on Earth” on Jet Airways flight 9W 603 Delhi / Srinagar 11:15 AM / 12:35PM(Client’s own air ticket). . You will be met by our representative and transferred to your Del uxe Houseboat. Afternoon enjoy a short Shikara (boat) ride on the famous Dal Lake, a scenic picnic spot surrounded by pine forests, which is a also a good base for trekkers. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Day 3:SRINAGAR
The Valley of Kashmir has been describe by poets the world over as an “emerald set in pearls. This morning tour Mughal Gardens. The Nishat Bagh or Garden of Pleasure was designed in1633 by Noor Jehan’s brother Asif Khan on the slopes of Zabarwan Mountain. The garden has ten terraces with carefully laid out flowerbeds and magnificent lawns. Enjoy the magnificent view of the lake and the snow-capped Pir Panjal Mountain range. The Shalimar Bagh or the “Garden of Love” was built in 1616 for Queen Noor Jehan by Emperor Jehangir. During this time the upper terraces were reserved for the emperor and the court maidens. A canal lined with polished stones runs through the gardens feeding fountains and waterfalls. Return back to the houseboat for lunch


Day 4:SRINAGAR
This afternoon enjoy another boat ride on Dal Lake to observe the life of people residing in the floating houses tending their floating gardens. Later visit Shankaracharya Temple, located on a hill know as Takht-i-Sulaiman or “throne of Solomon”. It is said that the first edifice on this site was built by Jaluka, the son of Emperor Ashoka, around 200 BC. The low enclosing wall and the base of the existing temple is what remains of the old temple. Shankaracharya, a philosopher and sage, had stayed at this site when he had visited Kashmir ten centuries ago to revive Sanatan (Hindu) Dharma. It is said that the present structure was built by an unknown Hindu devotee during the reign of Emperor Jehangir. The temple offers a magnificent view of the valley and the snowy peaks of the Pir Panjal range. Return to Srinagar and enjoy your evening at leisure.. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)


Day 5:SRINAGAR
Today you free to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Srinagar. You may want to stroll down Boulevard Road and explore the local market. There are the famous Kashmiri handicraft showrooms as well as street vendors and there are also Shikarawallas who sell the handicraft items. Pashmina shawls, woolen blankets, silken carpets, embroidered suits and saris, zari embroidered traditional Kashmir pherans, wood crafts, paper machie items dried fruits, honey and saffron are the most looked for items in the city. Day 6:SRINAGAR / PAHALGAM
After breakfast, drive about 3 hours to Pahalgam. En-route visit the saffron fields and Avantipura temple ruins that are about 1100 years old. Pahalgam (2,130 m) was once a humble shepherd's village, but today it is one of most famous locations for Bollywood film shooting, as it provides breathtaking views and stunning natural backdrops. The town is at the junction of the Aru and Sheshnag Rivers and surrounded by soaring, fir-covered mountains with bare, snow-capped peaks rising behind them. Day 7:PAHALGAM / GULMARG
This morning enjoy a 4-hour scenic drive to Gulmarg or “Meadow of Flowers”(8900 ft.). Drive along avenues of Poplars then over flat expanses of rice fields and through picturesque villages. On arrival, check into your hotel. After lunch enjoy a cable car ride from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg and enjoy the sweeping views of the great Himalayas.   Hotel Grand Mumtaz Gulmarg (Breakfast and Dinner)


Day 8:GULMARG
Gulmarg was a favorite haunt of Emperor Jehangir who once collected 21 different varieties of flowers from here. Today Gulmarg is not merely a mountain resort of exceptional beauty- it also has the highest green golf course in the world, at an altitude of 8700 ft, and is India's premier ski resort in the winter. This day is free to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the beautiful meadows. Hotel Grand Mumtaz. (Breakfast and Dinner)


Day 9:GULMARG / SRINAGAR
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before driving about 2 hours back to Srinagar. Check into you houseboat and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Deluxe Houseboat (Breakfast and Dinner)


Day 10:SRINAGAR / SONAMARG
After breakfast drive about 2 ½ hours to Sonamarg (Golden Meadow). At an altitude of 8990 feet, Sonamarg lies in the heart of a gorgeous valley carved by the Sindh River. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the forest with various types of flora and fauna. Visit the local Ethnic village and experience the village culture of India along with various handicrafts that are manufactured within this small community. You may want to hire a pony to take you to the Thajiwas Glacier that is snow covered year round. Hotel Glacier View (Breakfast and Dinner)


Day 11:SONAMARG / AMARNATH / SONAMARG
This morning drive about 45 minutes to Baltal where you will board a helicopter for your 1-15 minute journey to Amarnath Cave (14000 ft.). You will land near the entrance of the cave and proceed on foot. . It is considered one of the holiest naturally occurring shrines on the Hindu faith. one of the most famous of Hindu temples and dedicated to Shiva. Devotees generally take the 26 mile pilgrimage from Pahalgam, or a 60 mile from Srinagar on foot and cover the journey in 4 to 5 days and this practice has continued annually for a little more than 100 years. The entrance to the cave extends up about 130 feet. Inside, , an underground trickle of water emerges 10 feet up from a small cleft in the sedimentary rock and freezes as it drips to form a tall, smooth cone of ice. After your visit, return to the helipad and fly back to Baltar where you will be met and driven back to Sonamarg. Hotel Glacier View BLD


Day 12:SONMARG – SRINAGAR – DELHI – INTERNATIONAL DEPARTURE
Morning drive to Srinagar and fly to Delhi. Met upon arrival and transfer to International airport to take your onward flight to your country
