Day 1:ARRIVE MUMBAI (BOMBAY)
On arrival at Mumbai, you will be greeted by Live India representative, with a traditional Indian welcome and escorted to the hotel. Mumbai, a cluster of seven islands, derives its name from Mumbadevi, the patron goddess of the Koli fisher folk, the oldest inhabitants. Rest of the day is at leisure. Enjoy welcome dinner in the evening. Enjoy a day of leisure or take advantage of many optional tours available. HOTEL (Breakfast)


Day 2:MUMBAI/SASANGIR NATIONAL PARK
This morning fly to Diu and travel by road to Gir a 2 hrs road trip exploring the countryside. Enroute visit Somnath temple, one of the 12 temples enshrining Shiva in the form of a Jyotirlingam in the country. The temple finds mention in ancient texts and scriptures. Gir National Park & Wildlife Sanctuary is a 1412 sq km hilly tract of dry deciduous forests, acacia scrub, evergreen and semi-evergreen flora and grasslands, fed by rivers and streams. Among the many water-bodies in the reserve is the Kamleshwar Dam, known for its large crocodile population. This sanctuary is the jewel of Gujarat’s ecological resources. It was originally protected by the Nawab of Junagadh after British viceroys brought to his attention the plight of the lion in Asia. Upon arrival check in at the Lodge. Day 3:SASANGIR NATIONAL PARK
Explorations inside the reserve in the early morning and late afternoon. The Indian lion is another name for the Asiatic lion, Panthera Leo Persica and the sub-species ranged from Greece to Central India before they were completely wiped out. The lions fortunately came under the protection of the Nawab of Junagadh, a local monarch, who banned all lion hunting in the area. Soon, the lion population began to rise in number. Sasangir is known for Asiatic Lions, the park also harbors a sizable population of Leopards, who are more visible here than in other wildlife sanctuaries of India. Other important and commonly noticed mammals in Sasangir are Spotted Deer or Chital, Antelopes, Striped Hyenas, Jackals, Nilgai, Sambar, Antelope, Chausingha or Four-Horned Antelope, Barking Deer, Wild Boar, Ruddy Mongoose, Langurs, Jungle Cats, Indian Porcupine, Chinkara, Gazelles and Crocodiles to name a few. Day 4:SASANGIR NATIONAL PARK / NAGPUR
An early morning game drive is followed by Breakfast. Later retrace your steps back to Diu airport and fly to Nagpur in Central India. HOTEL (Breakfast)


Day 5:NAGPUR / KANHA NATIONAL PARK
After Breakfast travel overland to Kanha National Park (approx. 4 hours). Arrive at Kanha and check-in to the hotel. The picturesque Kanha National Park was the inspiration behind Rudyard Kipling's cherished classic, The Jungle Book. The romance of the Kanha National Park has not reduced over time - its breathtaking charms are preserved to this very day. The park is famous for its wide diversity of wildlife. The main wildlife attractions are Tiger, Bison, Gaur, Sambhar, Chital, Barasingha, Barking deer, Black deer ETC. This evening embark on your first game drive in the park accompanied by an experience ranger. HOTEL (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)


Day 6:KANHA NATIONAL PARK
The varied topography and a moderate climate support the growth of a diverse flora in Kanha National Park. About 70 species of trees are found in Kanha. The vegetation in the park chiefly comprises of Sal forests, large Bamboo stretches and the lush green meadows. The rich flora in the park supports a large variety of wildlife. Kanha is home to 22 species of large mammals and over 300 species of birds. Early morning and late afternoon game drives allow time to relax and enjoy the tranquil Lodge facilities, spa, swimming pool or bird watching or visit the nearby tribal villages. Day 7:KANHA/ BANDHAVGARH NATIONAL PARK
After a morning game drive and breakfast travel overland to Bandhavgarh, known as the White Tiger territory. Stop enroute to visit and photograph the villages, rural markets and if you are lucky, you may see a celebration, a temple festival or village fair enroute. There are more than 22 species of mammals, and 250 species of birds that call the park home. Many migratory birds can be seen during the winter months, including the steppe eagle and a variety of wildfowl. HOTEL (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)


Day 8:BANDHAVGARH NATIONAL PARK
Bandhavgarh national park’s topography varies between steep ridges, undulating, forest and open meadows. The density of the Tiger population at Bandhavgarh is the highest known in India. Former hunting preserve of the Maharaja of Rewa is a famous natural hub for white tigers. During the morning and afternoon game drives you may see White Tigers, Bengal tigers, Leopards, Sambar, Barking deer, Nilgai, Wild boar, Gaur, Chausingha and Chinkara, the Asiatic jackal, Bengal fox, Sloth bear, Rattle, Grey mongoose, Striped Hyena, Jungle Cat, Wild Pig, Spotted Deer, Egret, Lesser adjutant, Sarus crane, Black kite, Crested serpent eagle, Black vulture, Egyptian vulture, common peafowl, Red jungle fowl, dove, Parakeet & more. Day 9:BANDHAVGARH NATIONAL PARK/ DELHI
After an early morning game drive, you will be driven to Jabalpur where you will board flight to Delhi. Arrive in Delhi, India's bustling capital city. New Delhi reflects the legacy the British left behind. The division between New and Old Delhi is the segregation between the capitals of the British and the Mughals respectively. Rest of the day is at leisure. HOTEL (Breakfast)


Day 10:DELHI OR AGRA TOUR
After breakfast proceed for full day tour of Delhi visiting both old and New Delhi. HOTEL (Breakfast)


Day 11:DELHI – INTERNATIONAL DEPARTURE
On time transfer to airport to board flight back home
